MIcroview Electronics today announced a major milestone with the official launch of its fully automated mass production line for large-format, full-color E-Paper Display (EPD) modules based on E Ink Spectra 6 technology. This marks a significant leap forward in scaling advanced color e-paper solutions for global commercial markets.
Since late November 2025, MIcroview has accelerated R&D and manufacturing efforts for three key sizes: 31.5-inch, 28.5-inch, and 20.2-inch. The new production line integrates fully automated equipment with intelligent process monitoring, enabling end-to-end automation from substrate cutting to final packaging. This ensures a stable, reliable, and highly efficient turnkey solution for E-Paper device manufacturers worldwide.
Setting New Standards in Large-Format Color
Focused on the core advantages of large size, full color, and ultra-low power consumption, the new module series delivers exceptional performance:
31.5-inch Module: 94 DPI with a 1440×2560 resolution on a 696.32 x 391.68 mm active area.
28.5-inch Module: 131 DPI with a 2160×3060 resolution on a 418.00 x 592.17 mm active area.
20.2-inch Module: 131 DPI with a 1530×2160 resolution on a 297.28 x 419.69 mm active area.
Leveraging E Ink Spectra 6 technology, these modules support a rich color gamut that breaks traditional refresh rate limitations, ensuring smooth dynamic content updates alongside crisp static imagery. The result is a vastly improved visual experience ideal for POP displays, digital signage, and high-impact poster applications, opening new horizons for visual communication.
Shaping a Sustainable Future
The commencement of mass production signifies MIcroview’s entry into a new developmental phase within the EPD industry. It underscores the company’s sixteen-year strategic commitment to energy-efficient displays and the smart IoT ecosystem. By injecting new momentum into the global E-Paper industry, MIcroview is paving the way for high-quality development.
Looking ahead, MIcroview will continue to drive innovation, tackling key technological challenges while adhering to green, low-carbon principles. The company is actively supporting national carbon neutrality goals (“Dual Carbon”) and collaborating with global partners to advance the green transformation of the display industry across verticals such as healthcare, education, logistics, transportation, and office solutions. MIcroview envisions a future where every inch of E-Paper serves as a “green seed,” changing the world for the better.
